Drake Borer, MD

Dr. Borer earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas. He completed his residency in orthopedics and fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at UTSW, and served as professor in the department of orthopedics. After three years as an orthopedic traumatologist at Parkland Hospital, he relocated to Central Texas to start Austin Skeletal Trauma Specialists.

Dr. Borer is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the Orthopedic Trauma Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. He is also a board member of the Texas Orthopedic Association and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

David C. Laverty, MD

Dr. Laverty earned his medical degree at the University of Iowa. After five years of orthopedic residency in Ohio, he completed his fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at Wake Forest University. He joined Austin Skeletal Trauma Specialists in 2004.

Dr. Laverty is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and board-certified under the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of the MidAmerican Orthopedic Association, the Texas Orthopedic Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society.

 Earl J. Kilbride, MD

Dr. Kilbride earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University. He completed his orthopedic residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, and completed a fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute. After seven years practicing in Central Texas, Dr. Kilbride joined the physicians of Austin Skeletal Trauma Specialists in 2010.

Dr. Kilbride is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and board-certified under the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
